Saving the <filename> part of the image url returned by the File System

I have created a directory in the file system where am storing images.

In my table, i just want to store the <filename> of the returned url.

If i want to use an image loading library such as Glide in android which requires the full url formation of the image resource, how will this work?

Regards,

George

George,

I am not familiar with Glide and would not be able to help you with it. As for Backendless, when you upload a file, you get a full URL of it back on the client side.

How can I use the backendless API to get the image from the <filename > saved in a column in my Table or must I save the full url as returned?

Files uploaded to Backendless have the URLs with the following structure:

  1. https://api.backendless.com/ id>/<version name>/files/<path>/<file name>

If all files are uploaded to the same <path>, then it is easy to reconstruct the entire URL knowing just <file name>
