It could be a bug, and as Mark said, the problem you described is fixed in Backendless Pro. I recommend installing it instead and contacting sales to get an evaluation license key.

Backendless Standalone is not supported anymore. We do not provide any updates and/or bugfixes to this version.
Instead, we’ve introduced the alternative product - Backendless Pro. It is not free as Standalone was, but there is an option to receive a trial license key for a month to set up your server and try out the product. Moreover, you get unlimited support for this trial month, so our team will help you with most of the problems. I suggest you contact sales@backendless.com and get any additional information you like. I had a problem with play crashing on stand alone. I noticed that one of the records in a database did not have an objectId! This was problematic as I could not delete the record. I ended up exporting the table, then deleting all of the records, removing the bad record from the cvs file, and importing back in. This might not be your problem but it is a shot in the dark.
