BackendlessFile upload OS X

Hello,
A Parse novice migrator here so forgive the question.

It seems like every attempt I make to upload a file through ‘backendless.fileService upload’ I can never even finish writing the “upload” method as it does not appear to be a recognized method.

I’m building an OS X backend platform for creating content for iOS devices which is why I need to be able to upload files through an OS X desktop app.

I’m just wondering if perhaps the ‘upload’ method is not available in OS X?

The upload methods are certainly in there. Here’s the header file for the OSX build of the library:
