Can I upgrade from Springboard to Cloud9 and after a while downgrade to Springboard again?

In my Springboard environment I want to migrate an App to a paid plan and then use the Springboard environment again for new, small ideas. Due to the Export restrictions in Springboard I think I need to

  • upgrade Springboard to Cloud 9
  • export the App and Data
  • import it into a new Cloud 9 environment
  • downgrade the upgraded environment down to Springboard at the next billing cycle

Is this the intended process?

Hi Jörg,

What you describe will work, I do not see any issues with it.

Mark

Hi Mark,

alternative approach: would it be possible to use Sync Changes from a Springboard Plan and in a second step copy all data and files instead of upgrading Springboard to Cloud9 plan just to get Export capabilities? Would I achieve the same?

Regard,
Joerg

Hi, Jörg Beyer.
It isn’t possible.
Export is unavailable for Springboard. App to App is available to Cloud 9, Cloud99 and Cloud Enterprise.

I understand that export is unavailable, but is Sync Changes unavailable, too?

Yes, as i wrote before:
App to App is available to Cloud 9, Cloud99 and Cloud Enterprise.
It’s about Sync Changes

Ok. Got it. Thanks.
