Email Password

Yesterday I setup my SMTP external email and tested it successfully. I noticed today that the password field was blank and have subsequently found that it displays blank after saving. Is this by design? Is it actually saving the password?

It works as it was designed. This was done in order to secure the data if the application has more than one developer. The password field becomes “clean” as soon as the correct password is saved. You can check that it works by pressing the “Test” button, or by sending any template from the “Sending messages” section.
