File Service - Date/Time

Are the file times stored in local or GMT and also are they returned in local or GMT time in the JSON object?

Is there a method/configuration setting for displaying the file time in local or GMT?

Hi Roy!

Server saves “createdOn”:1449231115000 value with GMT and in timestamp format.
You can convert this value on your client side in any format you need.

Kate.

The Timestamp column is displaying the time of the uploaded file in local time. Is there a dashboard setting to display in GMT/Local?

Is there a dashboard setting to display in GMT/Local? >> there is no dashboard for such purposes.

Can there be an addition to the console to toggle from displaying in GMT or local time file like in the Database tables?

Sure, it should be rather easy to add.

Hi Roy!
Toggle for showing date/time in GMT 0 already added in file service console.

Kate.

Thanks for adding this feature quickly.

I’m using the Chrome browser and it is displaying incorrectly. See Attached file.

I checked the problem of the display with Internet explorer and Firefox and they display without a problem. I was able to reposition the Timestamp while in the Chrome browser and it displays correctly now. Would be nice if there was a minimum / auto resize capability so the display is always correct.

Hi Roy.

This issue (with incorrect displaying GMT toggle) already solved.
Please not forget to clear browser local storage before testing.

Kate.
