Retrieve relational API's and binding them

Hi!

I want to reach “kategori_image” on a API call (image 1), should I approach it like this?

Get property “currentEvent.aktivitets_kategori.kategori_image” of Page Data (image 2)?

currentEvent is the object loaded through an API call.
It keeps giving me errors (image 3) but the information is there!

Am I approaching it wrong or?

No, you get value correctly, however, let’s clarify a couple of points

1. where does the logic (Get property) is located
2. when do you load data currrentEvent
3. are you sure there is the data in the PageData right before you try to get it?

Although in the console, you print the data it doesn’t mean the data is present at the moment you are trying to access it, because of async code. Could you please to the following before getting the value

On the Index page there is a dynamic list with events.
On that list there is a button with the logic above.

I use “Go to page” block and attach “page Data” to the blocks data as shown in the image.

Yes, the error is gone but I still get 2 bad requests. Does it mean that something is wrong?

It tries to load the file from the /web directory if your Backendless File storage.
