Server side code

You’e promised in May that by the end of June you’ll add feature of running server side code.

Is there any update on that? Also, will you support python twisted or it’s only JS/Java?

Hello,

We are working hard to bring the feature to our users. I apologize it is taking longer than we anticipated. Initially it will support Java, but we will also publish a protocol and a reference implementation for implementing server-code containers for other languages.

I’d love to use your system with server side JavaScript for the events. Is there any chance this might happen soon? (since the last post was 7 months ago… :slight_smile: )

Hi Peter,

We released server-side code support in Java back in early May. Support for JS is definitely on our roadmap, however we cannot commit to a specific timeframe when it will be released.

Is JS more of a comfort level for you, or perhaps there is something that the current system cannot do?
