Unable to change password

The documentation states “For the applications on the free plan, the result of the API call is a computer generated password delivered to the user’s email address. For the applications on the paid plans, the email message includes a link to a customizable web page where the user can enter her own password.”

As i evaluate Backendless, i’m on the free plan. However, the email message sent includes a link to a customizable web page where I can change the password. Upon clicking Save, the website appears to accept the changed password. The user data table in the console shows the user being updated to the time of the requested change… but i cannot login with the new password … the old password still works!

This issue already assigned to development team. As a workaround you can use “User requests password recovery” (another template for restore password). You can select it on Users-> Email Templates.

The password change feature seems to now be working as expected.
