Change user identity column

Task: Change user identity column

Selecting the name column as the user identity generates an error stating that “Existing values are not unique for the new Identity”. I cannot change the NN as well as I get “Unable to set not null (required) constraint because column already contains nulls. Please, remove null entries.” How to remove null entries and other constraints?
