Brand new to Backendless. Just wanted to know if there was anyway to add 2 step authentication or similar to my backendless account just to make it extra secure? I’ve had a quick search on the forum but didn’t notice anything.
You could use Google, Twitter or Github login to enter your Backendless account. Some of these auth methods can be configured to do 2FA and it should work when you login to Backendless.
So the main worry it obviously other people hacking the account. If I setup 2-factor via one of the auth methods (Google, Twitter, etc), will that then prevent someone attempting to gain access using the standard backendless login of email and password, or could they still gain access via this method? Just trying to understand.
If someone gains access to your Google account, they can hijack the login to Backendless.
Likewise, if someone gets access to your phone, they can hijack the access to any 2FA system you use.
