App Settings>Email Settings, set to Custom Email Service Provider. We are getting auth errors (bad username or password). The email account in use is a Gmail with custom domain which recently had 2FA enforced and the password was changed. I tried updating the password to the new correct one and that did not solve it. I disabled 2FA for the user account in the Gmail Admin and that has not worked. The error we are seeing specifically is:
Username and Password are not accepted. Message from smtp server: 535-5.7.8 Username and Password not accepted.
- Is there a way to enforce 2FA for an account used in backendless?
- If not, what would prevent the correct U/P combo from functioning correctly?
