Backendless Pro Community Edition

@mark-piller

I just started receiving a message on Backendless Pro Community Edition:

{
“code”: 9036,
“message”: “A valid license is required to operate Backendless Pro. Please contact sales@backendless.com to obtain a license.”,
“errorData”: {}
}

What are we supposed to do now?

I’ve asked these questions before but couldn’t get a solid answer.

Mike

Hello @Michael_Kadron,

I wanted to let you know that I’ve extended your license expiration until the year 2100. Additionally, please note that the latest version of Backendless PRO does not check the expiration date for the Community version.

If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out!

Thank you @sergey.kuk

I don’t know how to upgrade Backendless Pro Community Edition.

I could not find any documentation on how to do this correctly.

Hello!

I just install the Backendless on-premise, everythings sounds look but when I go to console to registration a new user I receive the same message “A valid license is required to operate Backendless Pro. Please contact sales@backendless.com to obtain a license.” When the instalation began I put the license which I received by email.

I didn’t find any solution till now.

Best regards

One of the steps during the installation of Backendless Pro requires adding a license key (see below). What process did you follow to install where you bypassed that?

Hi @mark-piller

In this field I filled with the license key that I received by email

Tks

What do you see when you click the License link in the Backendless Console?

I’m stucked at the login page without license link.

If I go to the registration page, after filled all fields and clicked to send button I receive the message.

Tks

You should use a desktop to access Backendless.

Please send a screenshot (from a desktop) that shows the status of all the processes in the Pro Manager.

Mark

Here is, all servers running except bl-automation which wasn’t installed.

And here is the login page from a desktop

And here is the page after submitted button:

Best regards,

Have you used the same license key in more than one installation?

Yes, I tried to install it for the first time but I had some errors, so I removed everything and installed it again, using the same license key in the same machine.

I think that’s the reason why it is not working. The license key you got was attached to the other installation. I cleared the license mapping on our side. Try restarting all processes and let us know if it works.

Regard,
Mark

Yeah! Everything is working!

Thank you so much, Mark
