Backendless timer stops working randomly

Hi, we’re encountering some issues with the backendless timers. Some of our timers execute as scheduled, but at some point they just stop running without warning. Shown below is the most recent occurrence of this which was last January 6, 2025.

The timer is called DatabaseAddNextMSCalendarSessionObject

Have you restarted it? I see that it is working without problems as far as run history shown.

Yes, it is working now. This occurred last week and we fear it might happen again, which is why we are bringing this forward.

Understood. In your case some job was not done by the timer or only log entries were missing?

We see no problems with timers execution in our monitoring app. But there might be a problem with execution logging when information about timer execution is not recorded to the log. We have a ticket for problem with logging.

This timer’s function is to generate new table objects/records. We have received tickets from the other departments because some of those aforementioned objects were not generated. We have come to the conclusion that this an actual issue because this is the 3rd time it has happened for this timer alone. We’ve encountered other issues with other timers before as well, but those were not as crucial as this one.

One of my coworkers has notified me that the issue has occurred again but for a different timer. Can you please check this one as well? This issue has become more frequent lately.
