I would like to ask regarding there is a fee or bill of some sort if we do an automated export of database daily in our system. We have recently implemented a daily backup of database in our system to keep track in our files (Related article here) and would like to know if there is some sort of hidden fees or charge that we are not aware because of this system.

Hi Kean,
There are no hidden or additional fees for the backup procedure. When you run a backup, Backendless processes and finalizes any pending charges from the current billing cycle.

Thanks Mark. Just seeking to understand, as we are getting daily charges now whereas previously it was monthly. Is this because we are doing the daily backup? And understanding from the response, when we add the daily charges back for the month, they should come to the approximate usage-adjusted monthly charge?
Yes, the system will clear any pending balances anytime you run the export/backup.
Yes, that is correct. The daily transactions are not “extra charges;” these are account settlements. If you sum up all the daily transactions, they will be the same as the monthly charge since it consists of the same line items in your monthly statement.
