Thanks for the detailed description — we’re aware of this issue.
Please take a look at the following topics, they describe the same behavior and include the current status and workarounds:

In short, this is a compatibility issue with recent Chromium-based browser versions. As a temporary workaround, using Firefox or rolling back to an earlier Chromium version should resolve the problem.
