When I try to access the frontend on backendless through a new tab, I get the error with my browser that the connection is not private. When I access the front end through the console, it works fine, but when I open the app in a new tab, my browser says the connection is not private and does not allow me to access the site at all, no skip option even. I also tried to just access https://backendless.app itself and I got the same error.

Do you still experience any problems with the domain/certificates? Did you happen to see the certificate details when the browser blocked it?
I just tried to open the provided domain and it works for me.

This can happen if you have some endpoint protection security devices in your network. Usually, this is the case in company networks. You can verify this, if you compare the certificate sent by the backendless server and the one received by your browser. The certificate owner is typically different then.
The reason is, that the backendless domains are often classified as sources of phishing attempts.
