Custom code editor closes on ESC

When I’m (accidentally) pressing the Escape key while working with the custom code editor, the editor is closing immediately and all changes are lost.
Could you capture/avoid the the ESC event to ask for saving changes?

Works in principle. Thanks.

One usability thing:
When doing a change and pressing “ESC”, the system shows
image

Pressing “SAVE” is saving the code, but the code editor is still open. IMO, the code editor can be closed automatically as well.
