Data Keeps Reverting Back

I am making changes in the backendless console and those changes keep getting reverted back to a previous version. Are you aware of that issue? I am saving them and the changed do get reflected live immediately but then after a little while, they go back to the previous version (the version before I made the change).

We haven’t seen that issue. Would you be able to record a video showing the problem?

The gap is too long between the time it happens and the time it reverts back. We will make a change to a table in the console and check the data on our app and everything is working fine. Then 15-20 minutes later, we will open the app and that change will have reverted back (sometimes it is 1-2 hours later that it reverts back - there is no set time).

The only two possibilities are: if your app reverts the changes back or you restore (import) data from a backup. There is nothing in our system which would revert your data - we do not perform any kind data transformation operations on your tables.

Are there any backendless functions or anything in the SDK that you have seen as a common mistake that could cause this?

Do you have any internal tools that track which user is making a change to our data table?

I have seen a lot of code that made me feel quite sad, but I cannot narrow it down to “common mistakes”.

We do not have such a tool that can track actions of individual users.

Mark
p.s. I’ll mark this one as “cannot reproduce” so the topic is not left hanging.

No problem. Thanks!
