The time limit between posts should be 30 seconds or less. I’ve run into this multiple times, and I have to wait to add additional details to a thread.

Unfortunately this measure is necessary to fend off spammers.
There are better ways to manage spam. I used to run a large forum, and we dealt with a lot of it.
