Delete Atomic Counter?

I have the developer plan, which says I have access to 500 Atomic Counters.

Just a quick question surrounding that - is there a way to delete atomic counters when they are no longer needed?

I only see the reset function in the documentation / SDK. Does resetting the counter also “delete” it until it is incremented again?

Or once a counter is created, does it count toward your plan limits, with no way to delete it?

Just wanting to clarify.
