Error sending push messages: "DerInputStream.getLength(): lengthTag=111, too big.."

Hello guys,

I installes the Enterprise vrsion of backendless (0.0.9-0) in my local environment (MacOS X 10.10.5). After configuring my app I wanted to test push messages. So for iOS I uploaded the specific certificate and entered the right password and for android I typed in the Google-Api-key. I am relatively sure that the data entered by me are correct because I used them with another provider (Parse.com).

So for android everything works fine but for iOS I get the following error:

DerInputStream.getLength(): lengthTag=111, too big..

Can anyone help me to solve the problem?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Stephen,

Could you please clarify where you see that error?

Also, as a point of reference for troubleshooting, could you please try your certificate and Android API key on http://develop.backendless.com (you will need to create an account and app). Please let us know if it works there.

Regards,
Mark

Hi Mark,

thanks for your fast response. I attached a screenshot to show you where the error occurs. With the web-version under http://develop.backendless.com there is no error. Everything works fine with the same certificate.

Best regards,

Steffen

Hi Steffen,

Our enterprise builds are slightly behind the online version and bug fixes appear on the .com deployment faster than in the builds.

Could you please let me know if the error occurs when you open the Messaging screen or when you try to publish a message?

Regards,
Mark
p.s. I apologize for misspelling your name in my previous response.

Hi Mark,

no problem for misspelling my name  The error occurs after clicking the publish button.

Best regards

Hi Steffen,

We will prepare an installer with the latest code we have in production. It may take a few days. Meanwhile, to avoid any development delays, you could switch the endpoint and use our online service until the problem is fixed.

Mark

OK, so please let me know when I can download the new version.

Henrik

Hi Henrik,

I apologize for getting back to you so late. A build has been available for quite some time…
