External MySQL database in backendless 4.1

Hi all,

I know that we can connect the app tables with an external database on another host, so is it available in Backendless cloud? And if it is, how to add it in Backendless 4 console?

It is not currently possible to connect Backendless 4 with an external database, however, this functionality is on our roadmap.

It’s still available is Backendless 3…however I can’t create a new app on Backendless 3
Did you remove the ability of creating new projects on Backendless 3 console?

You are correct, new applications can be created only in version 4 of Backendless.
