I needed to upload files from android app to back end less. I am able to gather info on uploading images but is uploading doc or ppt files same as that of image. If there is an example pls let me know.

you are asking if there any difference between uploading image and other files (like .doc or .ppt), right?
If so, there is no difference - algorithm is the same for all cases.
