How to prevent iOS from uploading HEIC files?

We have an add photo button, and in some cases, we get HEIC files uploaded. Those files can’t be resized with our existing process. Is there a way to force iOS to create a jpg from the HEIC and upload that? Having the user change their iOS settings isn’t a real option.

Thanks, Mark. I realize this isn’t a backendless specific issue but there are a lot of smart folks on here and I doubt I’m the only one who has run into this issue.
