Illegal mix of collations error

Hello,

I receive the following error:
Illegal mix of collations (utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8mb4_general_ci,IMPLICIT) for operation ‘<>’

This error is showing up on a page which hasnt been changed for months, can you help me with this error?

Currently a lot of users are experiencing this issue on the home page of the app and users cannot use the app anymore.

Hi.
We think we’ve found the cause. Now we are trying the fix on one of our servers. If everything will be fine we apply it everywhere. We will post here about the result.
