Allow developers to use backendless as a validator for in app purchases purchased from the Google Play store (and apple app store).

A competitor that has this feature: http://www.applicasa.com/

Also allow reoccuring subscriptions (which Applicasa don’t support)

Is there a server-side validation API call from Apple similar to what Google offers? I apologize I am not aware of it.

Yeah there is a receipt validation call.

We got side–tracked and then side–tracked over that. In the light of Parse news, I am compiling a list of important changes for iOS. This going to be one of them.

Would love to hear if this is something you are working on now, or maybe a guess on when this will be implemented?
I’m about to start with IAP on my app and I would really like not to add all the server code and headaches that comes with it.

We are not working on it right at the moment, but it is on the roadmap. I suspect it will be available later this year though.

I too am looking forward to In-App purchase validation for iOS… as i am also currently building an app that will need in-app purchases soon and i would like to do the validation and download through backendless and have backendless check the apple server for the certificate.
