IOS Push Notifications Not Working

I’ve completed all necessary setup for Apple Push Notifications and have added the code from backendless that is required in App Delegate.
I can see my device is registered on the backendless console, but when i try to publish a message, it does not come up as a new line in the console.
Also, are we meant to handle the notification? or is it simply meant to show up?

If you publish the message from the developer’s console, do they appear in the window?

Only if I do not check any of the boxes for Push Notifications or Broadcast.
Otherwise, they do not appear in the window if i DO check the boxes to send to my device
