Hi @Magical
Thank you for your question, and we completely understand your concerns.
I want to assure you that Backendless is actively maintained and supported. We have no plans to shut down the platform. On the contrary, we are continuously developing new features, with a strong focus on AI, automation, and no-code capabilities to ensure that our platform evolves alongside emerging technologies.
The relatively lower volume of new threads in 2025 may be due to a number of factors. Firstly, we’ve seen a significant increase in the availability of video tutorials and recipe-style guides that cover various use cases of the platform. This has empowered many users to find solutions more easily without needing to post in the forum.
Additionally, our Missions feature plays a key role in helping users understand how to effectively utilize different services within the platform, further reducing the need for forum posts.
It’s also worth mentioning that we provide paid support, and some topics are specifically available to those customers. As a result, not all discussions are visible in the public forum.
Lastly, our support forum contains thousands of helpful topics, many of which can be quickly found through Google or other search engines, enabling users to solve issues without needing to create new threads.
We hope this provides some clarity, and rest assured, Backendless continues to evolve with regular updates focused on AI, automation, and no-code capabilities.
Thank you for your understanding, and we’re happy to have you with us!
Regards,
Vlad
