Has anyone had success with implementing the Parallax Component, I cant get it right followed what seems to be really easy to understand docs, but no joy. Background image just stays put.

If I clearly understand, you are using our custom component. Please provide a test environment(page without business logic) for us, where you trying to use Parallax.
We will fix your problem and try to improve the documentation.

The problem was in overflow: scroll. It prevents document scroll events and broke the component.
I’ve created a ticket for this issue and will notify you when it will be fixed.
As for now, I made a working example on your page without overflow. Is it cover your case, or overflow is important for you?
