Post api for an table with relational fields

I have one table with one column relational

eg CompanyId is a relational column.

Now while making a post request to this table, the relational column data doesnt get saved via rest console

what is the correct way to implement this?

The companyId is a column that points to an object in the Companies table. Sending a number as a value for the companyId column will not work.

To save both Dsars and a related company in a single call, you need to use the Deep Save API:

Btw, the REST Console doesn’t support Deep Save yet.
