Push Notification not showing while the app is closed/in background

I develop two apps that uses similar Backendless APP ID and API KEY since these two apps are required to access the same data source and other Backendless functions.

When I try to send a push notification from App A to App B, there is no notification received by App B when the App B is in background/closed.

I’ve been searching the whole forum but did not discover the latest answer, most of them are from 2-3 years ago.

When you say the apps use “similar” application ID and keys, did you mean “identical”?
Also, does the notification show when App B is in foreground/active?
