Send Email from Template documentation?

I am wondering what this block expects for parameters, if anything else (external SMTP service) is required, etc. The documentation is lacking detail and does not mention this block.

When it comes to the blocks which represent the APIs (pretty much all the blocks in the BACKENDLESS section, I’d recommend to use the API documentation to understand how API’s work. Here’s the API doc for sending an email from template:
