Sent Email for User Registration Going to Spam

Hello

Can you detail the reasons that would cause emails to be sent to spam? In an old topic the one reason I read was if the ‘From Email’ and ‘User ID’ were different. Are there any more?

This reason is applicable to me because I am using an MS Office subscription with an @onmicrosoft.com email as the ‘User ID’ but am using an email alias for the ‘From Email’. Not sure yet how to fix that, but would this be the only reason emails are going to spam?

Thanks
Paul

Please provide a simple code that could be run in a new clean app and reproduce the issue.

If the issue is more complex or requires configuration, please provide a link to a project on Github that reproduces the issue.

There may be multiple reasons, but ultimately it is the mail client’s decision how to classify a message. Here’s a blog post from Google on this topic.
