The records in our ms_student_dir table were deleted, and now only 5 records remain.
We have a timer called deleteOldRecords that deletes records, but the query should not be deleting most of them.
Our DevOps team is currently investigating whether backups exist for the timeframe you specified, and we will inform you as soon as we have more details.
Thanks @Karyna , anytime from 6/13/2025 12:00 UTC to 06/14/2025 23:40 UTC should work. If you have multiple backups during that period, we are looking for any one of those. If it helps, we are focused on the ms_student_dir table. It had over 3000 objects
Thank you for your patience. The nearest available backup for the ms_student_dir table is from 02:10 GMT+2 on March 12, 2025. Please let us know if you’d like us to restore it or if there’s anything else we can assist you with.
Hi @Karyna so there are no daily backups of our data? Can you let me know how many objects the March 12 restore contains? Is it possible to restore only this table and no other tables or methods or UIs being affected?
Unfortunately, we don’t keep daily backups. The closest one is from 02:10 GMT+2 on March 12, 2025, and holds about 14 MB of data. We won’t know the exact object count until the restoration is complete.
We can restore the table from our system level backup. The procedure takes about 4 hours. There is a required fee of $340 to cover our engineer’s time. Let me know if you would like to proceed.
Hi, @Karyna Just to be clear, if we restore the table from our system level backup, no other tables or methods or user interfaces will be changed or affected. You will simply just restore this one ms_student_dir table and nothing else. If so, we’d like to approve the cost and proceed with restoring the table. It is very important that no other items in our app are restored or affected though. Kindly confirm this important point, and then we can proceed.
