The "From:" field in outgoing emails cannot be changed

When sending mails via backendless (new user registration, password reset, etc.) it is not possible to specify which name is displayed in the “From:” field of the mail.
This leads to the following:

From: Backendless <my@email.com>

Even though we configured our own (gmail) SMTP-Server in the App’s Settings.
We cannot send customer-emails that originate from Backendless rather than from our “Service” - so please make it possible to configure the displayed name.
If that’s not possible in the short run, please disable setting the name altogether - even the bare email (my@email.com) would be easier to understand for the customer (as they expect an email from us, not Backendless ;))

Do you have any ETA on this (i.e. coming in August / next week / etc)?
We need to hold back initial user registration until this is sorted out (or at least no name is shown at all), so it’d be great to have an indication.

I just went ahead and tried to change the from-field today, and it just worked perfectly - what else, right?
We can finally get going with user registrations now, thanks to you.
