The nature of my app requires me to communicate security to my customers.
Are there any “trust badges” I can use. Ex. Verisign, etc…

IMHO a Verisign “trust badge” is an invention of Verisign’s marketing department. 
If you need to verify our SSL certificate, that data is available right in the browser:
I agree with you. The same applies to all the rest. I used to market software.
I’ll probably just add a couple to the website and see if anyone says anything.
