I used the Generate Zip link on the App Info page to create a zip file for an application before I deleted it. I download the zip and tried to extract some files. The extraction says the files are password protected and won’t allow the extract. Can someone tell me what password to use?

The zip cannot be opened directly (even with a password, based on my understanding). You should use it to recreate an app in Backendless (use the New App popup and select the"from another app" option. You will need to provide “developer signature”. It can be obtained from the console in the Manage > App Settings> Team screen.

That worked. For others who shot themselves in the foot in the same way, you also need to leave the zip file’s name as it was. I renamed it when I downloaded it, and the app creation failed. Luckily, I still had the original filename in my browser history.
