It could be useful to be able to interact with a form’s validation outside of submit events. I don’t know how useful it would be for others but it came up for me when interacting with a form through a modal.
(a) call the validation event that occurs before submission without actually submitting the form, or (b) return the group of component IDs that are set to “required” and will be checked during the validation?
