Deployed progress gone

Hello all,

Most of our devs have been reporting that their recent changes have been rolling back to their previous state. This is usually happens with pages in the UI Builder.

The most recent rollback happened in these functions inside the CS container

  • DSToffSet
  • tutorTimeslotsConference

If we could please identify the cause of these. This has been happening multiple times now.

Hello @DALDE_John

We are looking into your issue and will try to resolve it as soon as possible.

Regards,
Zahar

I also want to clarify when you noticed that the changes were rolled back. For example, you made changes and they gone almost immediately(after page reloading for example), or you made changes and they gone after a while

Hello @Zahar_Mychka

We made the changes and they’re gone after a while. Usually gone the next day or a few hours.

Hello @Zahar_Mychka,

Another case occurred today. My colleague made sure to publish the changes but after a while most of the onclick logic have reverted back to their previous state.

Hello @DALDE_John,

Thank you for the information! We are almost ready to release the fix. It’s currently undergoing final testing.

Hi @DALDE_John,

We’ve just updated cloud servers with a fix for the issue you described above. Could you let us know whether the fix works for you?

Regards,
Bohdan

Thank you. We will monitor this

Hello @Bohdan_Vynarchuk ,

A colleague has experienced the issue again. This time it happened on a timer. The issue happened twice. He added some updates and then the logic was reverted back to its previous state. He fixed it again, and it happened once again.

He updated the timer at around 8:50 am UTC and he noticed that the logic was reverted back at around 9:00am UTC

Timer name: BackendlessBulkResCanLead
App ID: 4A47197B-AE30-FA84-FF56-0071F4010900

Hello @DALDE_John

I apologize for the inconvenience.
I have reopened the ticket and will try to reproduce your problem.

Regards,
Inna

@DALDE_John

I want to clarify, did you do a re-deploy when changing the timer? The thing is that for business logic we don’t have autosave/autodeploy.

Regards,
Inna

Hi @Inna_Shkolnaya

I am quite certain that my colleague deployed his updates. He assured me that he did.

We can also see it working in the logs after the update but after a while, the changes were reverted.

Hi @Inna_Shkolnaya ,

As you can see here, this the time when the timer was working properly. The print is different.

While here, this is time where the timer went back to its old logic.

Hello @DALDE_John,

Looking forward to your response!

This is not something that can be reproduced. We did not do anything specific to produce this problem, this only occurred randomly. All the information are in my last few comments above.

Thank you, I hope this can be resolved soon and not reoccur in the future.

We’ll do our best to find and fix the issue, but unfortunately, the information you’ve provided is not sufficient for us to fully understand the issue.
